Islands' Cafe

Camarillo, California

The newly remodeled All You Care To Eat (AYCE) Residential Dining facility at CSU Channel Islands serves 460 per day and has 230 seats.

Features within the Residential Dining facility include:

Constructed in the 1930’s, Islands Café was originally composed of two separate men’s and women’s dining commons. Prior to renovation, only one structure functioned as an operational foodservice facility. The project vision was to fully renovate the dilapidated unused portion of the Café and link the two spaces to create a single, AYCE dining hall.

I have known Jim Webb, as well as several of his staff, for years. They are the first call I make when a client is looking for design services. Jim has been involved in no less than 20 projects with me over the years, to include several significant redesign projects on several college campuses.”
