Major program components include a state-of-the-art facility to enhance the study of culinary arts with specialized teaching / demonstration labs, general classrooms, faculty offices, while serving the dining needs of the campus community, and special public events.
The contract for this endeavor contains four separate projects: Project #1, the Art & Culinary Arts Building, includes a new 2-story structure and a mechanical rooftop penthouse. The building will facilitate the Culinary Arts Department and other campus needs. The ground floor includes large exterior glass sliding doors to extend and open the assembly area to the outdoors for campus activities.
